ZTE Grand S: The 5″ Smartphone That’s Set To Impress

Announced at CES 2013, the ZTE Grand S is the new high end smartphone that the Chinese company wanted to deliver to consumers, may be later this year and show that it can design and made beautiful looking mobile device.

ZTE Grand S is one of the devices that is part of Grand Series,  a collection of high end smartphones made by the company. This one is the first of line that came with the FHD (Full High Definition), a 5″ display and also the world’s thinnest Quad Core Snapdragon S4 Pro device. As with many devices of this level, inside it contains Android Jellybean so you get all that Google goodness that we all know and love.

Tech Spec

As mentioned before, the ZTE Grand S is powered by Qualcomm’s quad core processor, running at 1.7GHz the Snapdragon S4 Pro is a hefty mobile CPU. The device also contains 2GB RAM and an internal memory of 16GB; despite it super slim body (just 6.9mm), there’s also a MicroSD slot to increase your storage if you need it. Other features that come with the ZTE Grand S are 4G LTE connectivity allowing users a fast download speeds of up to 100Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps, a 13MP rear facing camera and a 2.2MP camera at the front, both of which can takes1080p video. Pretty impressive all round!


The company says that the device will be available in China within the first quarter of 2013 and maybe later in other regions with the possibility of also buying it in other colours like the Turquoise (which was shown off at CES 2013). Nothing about the ZTE Grand S price nor which carrier will have it have been released yet. The ZTE Grand S has already won the iF Design Award this year – maybe it’s because of that super slim body.
