Google Nexus 7 Announced

This week has seen a lot of announcements at the Google 2012 I/O meeting. One of these announcements was the Nexus 7 Tablet – the first official Google Tablet. The Nexus 7 (made by Asus) is specced really well, possibly the best specced Android tablet that I’ve seen. It will boast a 7” 1280×800 HD display, 8GB or 16GB  of internal storage, a Quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM and all the usual bits like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc.

The Nexus 7 will also sport the brand new version of the Android Operating system – 4.1 “Jelly Bean”. The Nexus 7 is available to pre-order now from the Google Play store and at £159 ($199) for the 8GB and £199 ($249) for the 16GB version I really think other tablets like the Kindle Fire and the iPad should be worried.

I have already pre-ordered mine – once it comes I will do a review and possibly even a video. You can pre-order yours using the button below.
