Google+ App for Android Updated with Pages Feature

Google+ App for Android finally gets what pages owners need…

Yesterday the Google+ product manager, Anish Acharya posted on his G+ profile that the Google+ App for Android and iOS got the update to the version 3.2 with the much sought after support for pages.

Today we’re rolling out v3.2 of the Google+ app to Android and iOS; both versions include one of our most highly-requested features: support for Google+ pages. This gives page owners the ability to post, comment, and interact with their followers directly from their mobile device

This means that all Google+ page owners can now control and see what’s happening in their pages and add content directly form their mobile device they can also interact with followers as he says. In addition, for Android users, Google adds the “Find People” feature to the app so you can find celebrities, friends and more people on the social network.

Personally, I think that this is another great feature for the app, especially because Google is showing that it can make Google+ more competitive against social power houses like Facebook and Twitter. The on going development goes to show that Google really are taking their investment into G+ seriously and the competition really should be worried.

You can download/update the Google+ app now from the Google Play Store or just updated you.

Do you have a Google+ page and just got the update? Tell us what you think about the upgrade in the comments section below.
