Asus ZenBook Infinity – A Shining And Lightning UltraBook

PC sales are at half-mast for over a year now, so manufacturers are announcing fewer new products. Apparently this is not the case for Asus

The Taiwanese brand recently announced the ZenBook Infinity, an ultrabook which is looks pretty nice. Here is a brief overview of the main characteristics of the Infinity

Technical specifications

Not surprisingly, the machine is equipped with the latest Intel CPU. Intel Haswell Dual-core next generation processor engraved 22 nanometers. Remember that these processors are very undemanding when it comes to power (just 28 W). The RAM capacity has not yet been revealed, but it probably should not be less than 6GB. The screen is touch, features a 13.3-inch diagonal size, certified Gorilla Glass 3 lip and has a great resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, comparable to the Retina

Asus ZenBook InfinityA thickness of only 15.5 mm and an Anti-scratch treatment for its lid and palm rest is announced. Two USB 3.0 ports, a mini audio jack, mini DisplayPort, and an SD card reader. 802.11n b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2 megapixel webcam. No information on the storage device, either the ability or the type but with a device of this spec, we would expect to see a Solid State Drive (SSD) to be present.

Asus ZenBook Infinity II

The machine will run Windows 8 Professional, and will also have a backlit keyboard, and the latest updates from Microsoft. No further specification is available at the moment. The price and availability also are not known. In the meantime, you can feast with these pictures, which are quite delightful to watch.
