Asus Transformer AiO: Android Tablet with Windows 8

Last week in Barcelona, Asus showed us their newest devices: The FonePad and the Padfone who are booth based on Android… Now the company just unveiled another device dubbed the Asus Transformer AiO.

The Asus Transformer AiO boasts a 18.4 full HD LED 1920×1080 touchscreen display and at the same time the device can un-dock from a Windows 8 base unit personal computer to turn into a  straight to a tablet, based on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.

With the Windows 8 device mode, you can do everything you wanted with your PC, run all Microsoft application on it. Because of it display, the Asus Transformer AiO PC is just like your Windows 8 tablet but this last one better than normal device running Intel last generation processors, so you had to choose between the Intel Core i3 to i7 processor with the Nvidia GeForce GT730M 2GB graphic card. The Asus Transformer AiO is based has internal storage of 1TB or 2TB with 4GB-8GB of DDR3 memory available.

Like other AiO PC, it has Wi-Fi capability, a front 1.0 webcam , Bluetooth 4.0, two speakers, 3 in 1 card reader.

In tablet mode, the Asus Transformer AiO is based on Google’s latest mobile operating system Android Jelly Bean – So you can figure out that you will get everything you need from Android especially in a bigger screen, as Asus says: The world’s Largest Android Tablet Display.

Based on an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor, the Asus Transformer AiO tablet allows you have a better game experience especially with the 10-point multi-touch display. Differently from the PC mode, in Tablet mode, it based on a 32GB internal storage with 2GB DDR3 memory, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0.

Price and availability:

According to Engadget, the Asus Transformer AiO device will be release in the Q2 of this year and will sell with the $1,299 price tag and maybe more.
